Pretender’s Escape was once the residence of the Chief of Clan Donald, now restored beyond its former glory you can experience the history of Clan Donald in this wonderful luxury cottage.

The Pretender’s Escape, is named after the night in 1746, when Flora MacDonald, help bonnie prince Charlie escape the soldiers who were searching for him in the main house at Monkstadt 1745, staying at this cottage you can share and follow in the footsteps of some of Scotland’s greatest historical figures.
